Sr. Project Manager - Raleigh, NC
Benesch is hiring experienced Project Manager to join our growing North Carolina Transportation Group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to plan, design, review and manage various types of NCDOT and municipal projects. This is an experienced position involving exciting, challenging, and complex assignments with opportunities for growth. You will regularly interact and coordinate designs efforts with the multiple projects and disciplines to develop turnkey projects.
The Impact You Will Have:
- Monitor schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements.
- Prepares project pricing, budgets and invoices.
- Develop Project Management plans for assigned projects
- Develop project schedule, budget and project quality management plans (PQMP)
- Manage the technical resources of a project
- Checking plans and submissions per NCDOT standards and requirements
- Checking task deliverables to insurance compliance with project QA/QC guidelines and PQMP
- Coordinate with Group Managers, Technical Managers and Practice leads
- Be a task leader for NCDOT embedded efforts including providing project oversight, reviewing work performed by other consultants, advise NCDOT (PMU, Divisions or other units).
What You Will Need:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- PE and/or AICP License or ability to obtain through reciprocity would be desirable
- Minimum of 20 years of developing roadway/highway projects
- Experience working with and developing NCDOT projects.
- Excellent communication and client relation skills.
- Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Candidate role can specialize as project manager or technical manager
- Experience managing a multi-disciplined project team
