We are looking for a Financial Accountant for our Deland, FL office! 

Position Summary: Record and report on financial transactions and prepare monthly statements including balance sheets, profit and loss, and subsidiary statements of the organization’s official financial records in computerized or manual form. 

Essential Duties:
  • Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place.
  • Analyze financial performance including
    • Producing and interpreting monthly financial performance
    • Monitor KPI’s for business and explain variances  
    • Complete customer profitability studies
    • Maintain standard costs
    • Explain monthly production variances
    • Preparation of monthly financial forecast updates
  • Preparation of financial data to support capital expenditure requests.
  • Identify costs saving opportunities and execute them.
  • Leverage the use of SAP.
  • Travel to other locations is required.
  • Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.
  • Follow Compliance requirements per “KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities.”
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • BA in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering Management, or a closely related field.
  • Five-plus years of experience in an Accounting role.
  • Mathematically competent with strong analytical ability.
  • Prior G/L experience.
  • Knowledge of financial control, processes, and systems, as well as cost control, and budget management.
  • Strong communicator of financial information to non-financial managers.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, problem-solving ability, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret and adapt known methods, system procedures, or operating concepts to new situations, and ability to identify and resolve related issues.
  • Detail orientated.

Computer Skills:

  • Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • SAP knowledge a plus.

  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
