Senior Business Systems Analyst - PeopleSoft Financials

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst – PeopleSoft Financials to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in a remote position.

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will provide expertise and system support in developing and enhancing business systems to provide new or enhanced products to our internal clients for effective planning, reporting, and analysis.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and requirements.
• Devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translating into proper system requirement specifications.
• Guiding and advising less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.
• Planning and monitoring business analysis.
• Managing the requirements life cycle.
• Conducting strategy analysis.
• Performing requirements analysis and design definition.
• Evaluating solutions.
• Troubleshooting systems issues and developing mitigation strategies for production issues and management of escalations.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years of PeopleSoft Finance systems analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• Knowledge of business-wide applications (e.g., third party software and internal operational applications, etc.) or IQVIA client facing applications and products.
• Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes.
• Thorough knowledge of IQVIA data and current systems.

Technical Abilities:

• Four or more years of experience in reading and creating SQL (Read and Write Simple Queries).
• Four or more years of experience utilizing an understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and table structures.
• Four or more years of experience utilizing PeopleSoft Application Designer as a reference tool for functional design, support, and troubleshooting.
• Four or more years of experience in supporting integrations (IB) into PeopleSoft.
