Web Sales Associate

Position Profile            

 

Reports To: Web Store Manager                                           FLSA Status: Full-Time Non Exempt

 

Summary

The Web Sales Associate is responsible for the day to day customer service, communication and data entry for orders received via the Erik's Web Store and third party websites. This position also is responsible for processing Ship To Store orders from ERIK'S Website in a timely and efficient manner. Pursuing and processing Group Sales for ERIK'S Bike Shop is also a core responsibility of this position. This position receives an hourly wage plus an aggressive monthly bonus based on sales generated during the month.

 

Position Details

The primary responsibilities and areas of impact of this position include, but are not limited to:

Main Duties

• Apply customer service skills to exceed customer's expectations.
• Answer and respond to customer phone calls, e-mails and online chat
• Entering data from online orders into ERIK'S RMS system.
• Evaluating and processing Ship To Store orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Drive sales through phone/chat/email communication with customers
• Generate new Group Sales opportunities
• Process Group Sales in an accurate and timely manner

 

Position Requirements

Experience

• Strong computer knowledge, Mac preferred.
• Retail sales or related industry experience.

 

Skills

• In depth knowledge of products, categories, sports and services offered by Erik's Bike Shop
• Excellent knowledge of store RMS and ability to learn Warehouse RMS system
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Good knowledge of Erik's Bike Shop policies relating to customer interactions
• Familiar with Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent general computer skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent typing, spelling and grammar
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.        
• Ability to be self-motivated and exhibit a high degree of professionalism.        
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.        
• Strong data entry skills.        
• Work well under pressure and the able to respond to continuously changing needs.
• Dedication to get the job done.

 

Working Conditions

• Work is typically performed in an office & warehouse environment.
• Physical requirements include sitting for long periods of time, typing, use of general office and warehouse equipment and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs utilizing safe practices.
