Security Guard | Full-time

Description

The Security Officer is responsible for the transport of non-emergent patients in a safe, professional, and timely manner. This position is also responsible for providing North Canyon Medical Center’s patients, visitors and employees protection from harm and reasonable fear of harm. Must demonstrate customer service, i.e. information, directions, escorts, etc and provide security and protection of North Canyon Medical Center properties and resources.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least one year of previous security or law enforcement service preferred.
• Maintain up to date CPR Certification
• Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title and the unit/area(s) of assignment.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression. 
• Ability to complete physical work activities as defined above.   
• Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence, standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for 5 years.
