Job Overview

The Lead Sales Development Representative will own the overall business, strategy, and engagement for a fast‑growing, strategically critical customer at the center of the AI and data center ecosystem. This role is accountable for driving profitable growth, shaping long‑term strategy, and leading a global, cross‑functional team to position TE Connectivity as a trusted, strategic partner.

This is a senior, high‑impact role requiring strong leadership through influence, deep technical and market understanding, and the ability to operate at executive levels both internally and with the customer.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Own the global P&L, strategy, and account plan for a large, complex, and rapidly scaling customer.
  • Serve as the primary executive interface between the customer and TE Connectivity.
  • Lead and align a global, cross‑functional team (sales, product management, engineering, supply chain, operations) through a matrix organization.
  • Develop and execute multi‑year account strategies aligned to AI, data center, and system‑level roadmaps.
  • Drive new business growth by identifying opportunities across TE’s full portfolio, including interconnect and power solutions.
  • Build deep relationships across engineering, procurement, operations, and executive leadership at the customer.
  • Ensure disciplined execution, forecasting accuracy, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally and influence portfolio, investment, and roadmap decisions.

What your background should look like

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, account management, or related commercial leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing large, strategic accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive results via cross‑functional and global teams.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage credibly with senior customer and internal leadership.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills.

 

Preferred Experience & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the data center and AI ecosystem, including racks, systems, and overall architecture.
  • Experience with interconnect products (connectors, cables, sockets) and data center power at the tray and rack level.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor and AI industry, including hyperscale and system OEM environments.
  • Background working with complex, technically driven customers in fast‑paced, high‑growth markets.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $167,200 - $251,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
