The Impact You’ll Make in this Rol

As a Senior Advisor-Clinical Development working within Solventum Health Information Systems Clinical and Economic Research Team, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage programs that drive the market adoption of public and proprietary payment and quality content and methodologies. This role requires an individual that is both a leader and a team player as they contribute to the development and success of our adoption strategies, ensuring value creation and delivery to a variety of key stakeholders, ultimately driving higher quality and more efficient healthcare delivery. In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Serve as the lead clinical subject matter expert in the development, validation, and application of clinical rationale, software modules related to International Refined Diagnosis Related Groups (IR-DRGs) 

  • Leads the advocacy with international governments on IR DRGs adoption and payment transformation projects and advises IR DRG-based payment transformation and quality measurement

  • Lead physician contributor to the clinical integration for the design and implementation of IR DRG logic for Severity of Illness (SOI), Risk of Mortality (ROM), and DRG assignment

  • Contributes to the classification and coding leadership of IR DRGs including DRG title standardization, coding assignment, admission logic and POA (Present on Admission) filtering

  • Serve as lead clinical expert in aligning inpatient and outpatient classification systems with payment and regulatory update processes for international health systems 

  • Lead international configuration of quality measurement methodologies, including Potentially Preventable Complications, Ambulatory Potentially Preventable Complications, Potentially Preventable Readmissions for outside of the United States localized/customized solutions for international regulators.

  • Contribute to policy and reimbursement reforms to the international regulators including Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, National Health Authority in India and Dubai Health Authority

  • Spearhead artificial intelligence risk prediction initiative. Integrating AI in cardiovascular risk prediction into hospital workflows and national health systems 

  • Contribute to designing and implementation of Ambulatory care quality improvement initiatives for international markets enabling risk-adjusted tracking and minimization of post-procedural harm 

  • Lead clinical content development, Real World Evidence generation, cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses including Systematic Literature Reviews and Meta-Analysis projects

  • Promote classification systems for advancing outcomes and efficiency and accelerating trends from fee for service (FFS) to value-based payment arrangements

  • Deliver presentations on scientific concepts like Healthcare Quality improvement, Ambulatory care Landscape changes in various national and international conferences
