About YouYou are entrepreneurial, a problem-solver, an excellent communicator, and a highly effective collaborator. You balance your technical capabilities with commercial awareness and find both equally rewarding. You have a passion for working intimately with end-users, including customers, drivers, software engineers, dispatch, and accounting managers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Product Ownership: You use this knowledge to provide clear direction to engineering to ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation matches expectations. Your strong technical background makes you the first point of contact for any requirements questions. As part of a small product team, your collaboration and communication skills are critical.
  • Product Strategy & Definition: You define what your product is, what it should be, and make it happen. With intimate knowledge and understanding of the marketplace in which you operate, you identify and predict the trends and needs of the market before everyone else and translate them into actionable product definitions that engineering can execute on. You gather requirements from existing and potential customers, but you don’t just build what they say they need – you synthesize the requirements to ensure the product delivers more than customers ever knew they needed.
  • Scrum master: You keep the trains running on time. You juggle shifts in priority. You remove blockers and facilitate effective and efficient engineering. You manage the roadmap and customer commitments for your assigned components. And critically, you decide what we don’t do. This isn’t managing the engineering team, but it is ensuring they are working on the right things at the right time.
