You’ll be recognized not only for delivering robust, high-performance software but also for actively driving improvements in product quality and engineering practices.</p> <p>This is a role for engineers who thrive in fast-moving agile environments, embrace accountability, and are eager to work on systems that require performance, reliability, and scale.</p> <h4>Tech Stack</h4> <ul> <li><strong>Backend</strong>: PHP, Symfony, MySQL</li> <li><strong>Frontend</strong>: React, TypeScript, Twig</li> </ul> <h4>We’re Looking for Someone With</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field</li> <li><strong>5+ years of professional experience in PHP development</strong></li> <li>Strong expertise with <strong>Symfony</strong> or similar modern PHP frameworks</li> <li>Proven proficiency in <strong>API design and development</strong> (RESTful services, Swagger/OpenAPI, microservices architecture)</li> <li>Solid understanding of <strong>MySQL</strong> and SQL optimization techniques</li> <li>Ability to write <strong>modular, reusable unit and integration tests</strong> with high code coverage</li> <li>Experience with <strong>frontend technologies</strong> (React, TypeScript, Twig templates)</li> <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Docker, containerization, Kubernetes, GIT/GitHub</strong></li> <li>Strong knowledge of <strong>design patterns, data structures, and algorithms</strong> in real-world use cases</li> <li><strong>Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills</strong> with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team</li> <li>Strong sense of <strong>ownership, accountability, and adaptability</strong> in a fast-paced environment</li> <li><strong>English at B2 level</strong> – comfortable in daily meetings, documentation, and written communication</li> </ul> <h4>Nice to Have</h4> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>cloud platforms</strong> (Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar)</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>Apache Cassandra</strong> or other NoSQL solutions</li> <li>Knowledge of observability tools such as <strong>Prometheus, Grafana, ELK</strong></li> <li>Experience provisioning infrastructure with <strong>Terraform</strong> and managing Kubernetes applications with <strong>Helm</strong></li> </ul> <h4>What You’ll Do</h4> <ul> <li>Participate in the most valuable initiative for the whole company</li> <li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using <strong>Agile/Scrum methodology</strong></li> <li>Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and performant <strong>backend services and APIs</strong></li> <li>Sometimes contribute to <strong>frontend development</strong> (React, TypeScript, Twig) to deliver seamless user experiences</li> <li>Resolve reported defects efficiently while delivering features that delight users</li> <li>Drive and uphold <strong>best practices</strong> in code quality, security, performance, and maintainability</li> <li>Participate in <strong>code reviews, documentation, and mentoring</strong> within the engineering team</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span>Founded in 2000, Kaseya currently serves customers in over 20 countries across a wide variety of industries and manages over 15 million endpoints worldwide.
