Purpose

• The Genesis HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees, primarily for the Genesis Motor North America (GMNA) division. The position serves as a business partner to GMNA management on human resource-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and develops integrated solutions. The position collaborates across the HR function to provide value-added services to both management and employees, aligning with the organization's business objectives. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about GMNA's strategic plans, its culture, and its goals.

Major Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusted advisor/business partner relationships by meeting with the Genesis Motor North America division.
• Support HR administration to ensure consistency, data integrity, and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Provide data-heavy support for the Manager, HR Business Partner at Genesis by preparing monthly updates for GMNA leadership and Genesis HQ. This involves reporting and creating comprehensive dashboards.
• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the GMNA division to assist with developing solutions, programs, and policies.
• Help with the voluntary termination process, which includes communicating with the employee and internal stakeholders, collecting equipment, coordinating termination administration, and maintaining coordination across Benefits, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to track open and filled positions and provide support during the recruiting process.

• Work with HRIS for continuous headcount monitoring to ensure accurate recording of headcount in HRIS systems and organizational charts.
• Support the HR Business Partner Manager.
• Assist the Mgr., Genesis HR Business Partner on business function restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Partner with Talent Management to offer input on GMNA restructures, workforce planning, talent reviews, and succession planning. Provide support during the performance evaluation process.
• Helps with day-to-day performance management guidance.
• Assists with identifying training needs for GMNA and individual coaching needs. Participating in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure their success.
• Familiar with legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with HRBP management and the Legal Department as needed.
• Ensure immediate responses to client questions.
• Collaborate on and maintain team standard operating procedures.
• Ad hoc assignments may be necessary for process enhancement, process establishment, policy review, etc.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
