Position Summary:

 Assemble or modify electrical or electronic equipment, such as electrical panel, switches kits, motors, or hydraulic cylinders and test equipment e.g. telemetering systems, electric motors, center drives. Safety First- Demonstrate safe work practices in accordance with all compliance and regulatory requirements including Life Safety Elements and hold others accountable to do the same.

 

Essential functions:

 

  • Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses
  • Responsible for accurately measuring and precisely cutting materials involved in the assigned work
  • Operates CNC machines to meet parts per hour requirements
  • Work at different work stations as production needs require
  • Must be able to do simple setups, change punches and die sets, bits and saw blades
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders, to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.      
  • Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments.
  • Ability to work with other team members to accomplish the job
  • Must follow all safety rules and regulations, including the reporting of any hazards, violations, or injuries.
  • Must operate safety equipment/devices and help provide a safe working environment by maintaining
