About the role:The Senior ML Engineer is responsible for building a scalable data infrastructure and low latency customer facing data APIs. People ship millions of packages with us everyday, and these shipments go through multiple stages that generate tens of millions events a day. The platform we build is the foundation of intelligence offering to our customers, it enables us to build complex models to power our data API products that set us apart from competitions.
What you will do:o Design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems and improve product performance.o Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for scalability, performance, and efficiency.o Evaluate and integrate third-party machine learning libraries, tools, and frameworks to enhance our existing ML infrastructure.o Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to gain insights and improve model performance.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best practices in data management, data quality, and model deployment.o Work with data scientist to create highly scalable API services that's based on ML and statistic modelsWork on large-scale data processing and feature extraction pipelines to support machine learning workflows.o Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team, fostering their professional growth and development.o Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
About you: o Bachelor’s Degreeo 8+ years of software development experience, master’s degree and 6+ years of software development experience, or equivalent related work experience. o Comfortable in a Polyglot environmento 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms in production environmentso Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databaseso Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keraso Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go or Javao Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and their applicationso Experience with cross engineering team projects, good at communicating complex technical problems and making judgment calls.What We Offer:
