About the role
Based in Kansas City or remote, the Senior Financial Analyst will support the FP&A organization with budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, special projects, and other ad-hoc analysis across multiple business units. This position will act as a trusted advisor and business partner to our internal stakeholders, driving financial awareness and operational efficiency throughout the organization.

How you'll make an impact
- Act as a finance business partner to one or more of our strategic lines of business or key functional areas
- Lead Annual Budget preparation and input into our budgeting and forecasting tool, Adaptive Insights
- Lead Monthly variances analysis and reporting
- On-going review of forecasted expenses and headcount to ensure accuracy
- Periodic forecast preparation and compilation (monthly, quarterly)
- Ad-hoc analysis and research requested by the business
- Conduct and support special projects through data analysis and research
- Preparation and compilation of reporting decks for both internal and external stakeholders
- Own, improve, and refine existing processes
- Identify areas to create efficiencies and implement new processes
- Lead quarterly financial reviews with internal stakeholders
- Mentor and train new and less experience team members
- Assist the FP&A team in other areas as needed

What we're looking for
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other analytical field required; MBA or CPA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a similar analytical role, preferably with a company in the technology, services or cybersecurity field
- 3+ years of experience budgeting and forecasting expenses and/or revenue
- Advanced excel and Powerpoint skills
- Proficient with Netsuite and Adaptive Insights or similar ERP and financial systems
- Proficient with DOMO or similar business intelligence and data visualization systems
- General understanding of accounting and revenue recognition principles
