OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Business Analyst to support the implementation and optimization of Clinical Information Systems (CIS) related to Medical Imaging and Diagnostic Services. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in clinical informatics, healthcare operations, and systems analysis, with demonstrated expertise in gathering business requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions that enhance imaging and diagnostic workflows.
This opportunity is open to full-time salaried employees, contract employees, and independent contractors.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
• Gathering, analyzing, and defining business and clinical requirements for Medical Imaging and Diagnostic Services in collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Facilitating workshops and engagement sessions with healthcare providers to validate requirements, perform gap analyses, and develop design documentation.
• Conducting business process and use case analyses to inform CIS design, configuration, and implementation.
• Supporting the implementation and integration of CIS solutions related to Medical Imaging and Diagnostic Services, ensuring alignment between clinical operations and system functionality.
• Collaborating closely with project teams, technical specialists, and operational leaders to maintain alignment between business and technology objectives.
• Managing multiple project streams while maintaining high standards of quality, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Utilizing Microsoft Office 365 and Atlassian JIRA to document, track, and communicate project progress and deliverables.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
• University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Clinical Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst responsible for Medical Imaging and Diagnostic Services requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design, and documentation.
• 5+ years’ experience working with Health Information Systems (EHR/CIS) and healthcare operations related to Medical Imaging and Diagnostic Services.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst in Health Information Systems/CIS implementation projects, with direct experience in healthcare operations and large-scale system implementations.
• Proficiency in using Atlassian JIRA in a project or operational environment is considered an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English is preferred.
