Program Manager, Embedded Finance

The rapidly growing Toast Lending Team is looking for a dynamic professional to help shape the future of how restaurants finance their business.  This role presents the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders across business, finance, accounting, product, engineering, operations, risk, data science and UX to oversee and influence the future of Toast Lending.  As a program manager you will be responsible for overseeing and influencing large cross function projects from beginning to end. 

 

About this roll*:

• Oversee key strategic initiatives and work with highly cross functional teams across marketing, data-science, risk, operations, product, engineering and design to define and plan for success.
• Coordinate across FinTech, Lending, Payments and other cross-functional teams to drive success of major lending projects, manage stakeholders and project communication ro all stakeholders
• Drive the implementation of large-scale and high-impact projects focused on the lending business (including identifying and driving process improvements)
• Own operational relationships with external partners 
• Seeking opportunities to improve partnership performance and driving accountability
• Develop project plans and be responsible for project - managing implementation, scoping requirements, resolving inefficiencies and driving operational excellence

Do you have the right ingredients*?

• 5+ years of relevant experience in project management,  program management or other highly cross-functional roles
• Consulting or financial services experience and/or similar experience at a high-growth technology company
• Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills (ability to collaborate with and influence a wide variety of partners)
• Self-starter with strong team driven personality and ability to lead with data
• Interest and ability to dive deep into the operational details of the lending and fintech ecosystem 
• Startup or similar high-growth experience; can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, dynamic environment with the ability to meet multiple deadlines

Special Sauce*: 

• Experience and understanding of SMB credit and a passion for providing access to the underbanked

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.Pay Range$100,000—$160,000 USD
