Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Main Entry is responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Main Entry department, including the assigned staff and their communication with guests. Oversees overall front gate operation and Team Members within the Main Entry department with direct oversight of Admissions, Guest Ambassadors, Wheelchair and Stroller Rentals, and Inventory Control. The Main Entry Operations Manager also partners with the Main Entry Sales Manager and Guest Services Manager to support department-wide initiatives and strategies.
Responsibilities Include:
- Uphold our Environmental Health and Safety standards.
- Mentors and counsels Team Members and supervisory staff while enforcing policies and procedures ensuring compliance of company and departmental standards.
- Responsible for managing a workforce of 100+ Team Members daily.
- Responsible for setting leadership standards and enforcing work area location efficiency.
- Build internal cross departmental relationships to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for strategic planning that focuses on providing a positive experience for Team Members, guests and ultimately provides positive financial returns.
- Manages and observe Team Member performance to ensure proper coaching and training are implemented.
- Assists with revenue reporting.
- Implements overall company strategies and recommends department-wide strategies and tactics with a goal of consistent innovation.
- Oversees day to day operational needs including special events for the department.
- Plan, Hire, train and development of line level Team Members and Leadership
- Write and conduct evaluations for Leadership and Non-Union Team Members.
- Analyze training material to ensure updates occur prior to annual assessment programs.
- Accountable for driving results for Guest and Team Member engagement.
- Enhance existing incentive programs to drive a highly engaged team environment.
- Builds a culture of Team Member Rewards and Recognition using company and department tools.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage various projects at different stages.
- Ensures that collective bargaining agreements are upheld by partnering with HR and Labor Relations to maintain positive union relationships.
- Investigates incidents including Team Member/guest complaints.
- Promptly follows-up on Team Member and Guest concerns.
