About the Program:

As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you’ll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp’s global business, culture, and leadership through:

Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time

• Dates of Internship: June 1, 2026 - August 14, 2026

• Location:  Phoenix, AZ

• Hours: Monday-Friday :  6:00am – 2:30pm  

• Compensation:   Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2026 through June 2028 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

About the Team:

The Phoenix Laboratory consists of a variety of departments such as microbiology, clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology and others that work as a part of the whole to provide quality results to our patients and clients.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Rotate through different areas in the laboratory to gain a better understanding of functions.

• Work with a dedicated trainer to learn instrumentation used within a clinical laboratory setting.

• Assist with the daily functions required including pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases.

• Engage in professional development to further your career in a laboratory environment.

• Perform lab assistant and specimen processing duties

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Working towards bachelor’s degree in microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, biology or Medical Laboratory Science.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast paced high-volume environment and while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks

• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills; experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
