The Global Partnerships and Operations Manager will be instrumental in driving our mission forward by building and maintaining strong partnerships and enhancing operational effectiveness. Role Overview:

We are seeking an innovative and independent Global Partnerships and Operations Manager or Leader. This full-time role is central to supporting and expanding our partnerships, enhancing our operational efficiency, and making a substantial impact on our global initiatives and partner relationships. The role reports directly to the Executive Director and can be remotely based anywhere globally practical.

Key Responsibilities:

 Partnership Outreach and Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, enhancing GTA’s network and influence.
• Identify and engage with existing and potential new partners.
• Strategize and implement initiatives to provide greater value to partners and expand GTA’s reach and impact of our program.

 Project Leadership and Operational Management:

• Lead and execute projects from conception to completion, demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving skills.
• Support some aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth organisational functioning.
• Assist in financial and administrative tasks, contributing to the efficient management of GTA.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Advanced education, such as a degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership management, project management, and leadership within the sustainability of the seafood industry.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing successful partnerships or collaborations, preferably in the sustainability of the seafood industry.
• Proven track record of independently managing and completing multiple projects, with evidence of successful outcomes.
• Experience in utilising project management tools and methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong independent work ethic with a proactive and innovative approach to project development.
• Proficiency in using smart office tools, including AI and other modern technologies, to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are assets.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental conservation.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Advanced education, such as a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in the seafood industry.

• Experience in financial administration, managing budgets and financial planning for projects or operations.
• Ability to analyse data and prepare reports, statements, and projections using tools such as Tableau.
• Advanced proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
• Experience in leading a project group in an international environment.
