THE JOB:
As an Assistant General Manager in TAP, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations at our fast paced sports pub, TAP. You will ensure proper training of our service staff, that our guest receive impeccable service, as well as drive covers within the outlet. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills allowing them to build strong relationships with our guests and team members.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Ensures high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience
• Oversee front of house staff and operations in TAP Sports Pub to ensure that service and safety standards are met
• Maintain communication with the chef on all food and menu issues
• Perform employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance records
• Assist with ordering inventory and other essential office functions

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a Sports Pub environment
• Previous experience managing team members represented by a union contract
• Takes pride in their work
• Describes themselves as detail-oriented
• Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression
• Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences
