About the role

Position Overview

The VIE, Inventory Planner supports inventory planning and product allocation to ensure optimal stock levels across all channels. This role assists with replenishment, reporting, and product launches, helping to align inventory with business and merchandising goals. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Junior Inventory Planner contributes to efficient inventory flow and improved product availability.

Key Accountabilities 

Inventory Planning

  • Target Stock Setting (including New Product), Replenish, Rebalance, Pull-Backs, Store Prioritization Collaboration

Retail Support

  • New Product Launch Communication (Inventory), Inventory Availability, Constraints, and Recovery

Omni Strategy & Inventory Requests

  • Execution, Strategy & Optimization
  • Sold Orders, Back Orders, Store Product Inquiries

Inventory Accountability

  • Reporting: Inventory In-Stock and WOS, New Product Launch 
  • Readiness and Performance vs. Forecast
  • Lead Action Planning to Mitigate Total Zone Inventory: T-Flags, Sell-Through, Long Tail, Rebalancing

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory, or planning roles.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the luxury or retail industry.
  • Familiarity with distribution operations or merchandise planning.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or similar analytical tools.
  • Exposure to a multi-product, multi-channel environment.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
