About the role

ECS is seeking an Acquisition Specialist (Senior level) to work remotely.  Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

 

ECS is seeking senior level contracting/acquisition professional to support NOAA's Acquisition and Grants Office.  Candidate will be supporting the customer's procurement, contract and grants management activities.  Acquisition activities include all phases of the acquisition lifecycle to include planning, requirements definition, solicitation and Federal Notice development, evaluation, award, post-award management, contract award closeout, and other administrative support.  Grant management activities include all phases of the grants management lifecycle including, but not limited to: planning, requirements definition, Federal Notice development, evaluation, award, post-award management, grant award closeout, and other related administrative support functions

 

Candidate may be required to travel on occasion to Silver Spring, MD; Goddard Space and Flight Center, MD; Norfolk, VA; Kansas City, MO; Boulder, CO; Seattle, WA; and other locations within the United States.

 

Salary Range: $55.28 - $72.11/hr.

  • Minimum 15 years experience/knowledge utilizing government grant management/acquisition/contracting principles, methods and techniques 
  • Strong federal/federal partner experience planning, developing, and executing acquisitions and/or grant management experience
