What this job involves:
As a Project Coordinator at JLL, you will join our dynamic, cross-functional corporate real estate team supporting our financial institution client as part of JLL's Project and Development Services group. You will be directly responsible for supporting a construction project management team to deliver challenging projects through a heavily finance-based role that requires forward thinking and consistently demonstrating initiative to adopt new technologies and contribute to efficient processes. This position involves working with construction-related purchase orders, change orders, budgets, invoices, vendors, and vendor contracts while regularly interacting with Project Managers, Accounts Payable, and Finance. Your interest in construction projects from start to finish will enable you to support your team in delivering interesting and industry-changing projects.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Support construction project management team to deliver challenging projects through finance-based responsibilities
- Work with construction-related purchase orders, change orders, budgets, invoices, vendors, and vendor contracts
- Regularly interact with Project Managers, Accounts Payable, and Finance teams
- Be proactive, organized, and think ahead to anticipate team needs regarding data accuracy, reporting, and project deliverables
- Leverage project management related technology while demonstrating initiative to adopt new technologies
- Act decisively, think big, and manage time to meet deadlines in fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Identify and manage multiple priorities with flexibility to work as part of team or independently as needed
- Contribute to diverse, supportive, and talented team environment while implementing innovative ideas collaboratively
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
- Detail oriented and organized with strong analytical skills
- Must be able to identify and manage multiple priorities with flexibility to work as part of team or independently
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Accountable, collaborative attitude with enthusiasm for implementing innovative ideas in team environment
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment with deadline management
- Interest in construction projects from start to finish
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience related to construction project management (experience supporting commercial real estate professionals in any sector is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Experience with basic accounting
- Understanding of purchase order and change order processes
- Knowledge of vendor management and contract processes
- Experience with project management technology and software
- Understanding of financial services sector operations

Estimated compensation for this position:
60,000.00 – 75,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
