As a Tax Analyst, where you'll play a meaningful role in supporting Baxter's tax controversy efforts. You will be responsible for aggregating and organizing data from various sources, including tax and non-tax functions, to support the company's tax controversy position. You will also be responsible for compiling and submitting data to tax authorities, tracking the status of requests, and logging confirmations of submissions.

What you'll be doing

• Aggregate and organize data from various sources, including tax and non-tax functions, to support the company's tax controversy position
• Compile and submit data to tax authorities, including responding to information document requests
• Track the status of requests and log confirmations of submissions to tax authorities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tax authority requests and submissions
• Provide support to the tax controversy team on data-related projects and initiatives
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations to support the company's tax controversy position

What you'll bring

• 1-2 years of experience in tax controversy, with a focus on data aggregation and reporting
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Working knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including transfer pricing and international tax
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools, including:
• Excel: advanced data analysis and visualization techniques, including pivot tables, charts, and macros
• Automation tools: experience with tools like PowerQuery, Alteryx or other workflow automation software
• Data visualization tools: experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.
