JOB SUMMARY: The Software Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for helping software developers test software and hardware products and verifying customer use scenarios and requirements. Supports and adheres to the OpenEye Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below. - Conducts Agile QA for bugs and stories completed by the development team.
- Conducts regression tests against software applications.
- Participates in Agile sprint planning and execution.
- Creates and executes test plans based on software acceptance criteria.
- Evaluates software and firmware applications for feature deviations from existing test plans.
- Recommends updates, fixes and improvements to existing test plans as needed to ensure accuracy.
- Configures and monitors long term and integration tests.
- Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
- High School Diploma or a General Education Degree.
- 2+ years SQA Experience.
- Familiarity with web applications and web terminology.
- Ability to work full time, in our Liberty Lake, WA headquarters.
- Passion for technology, growth within our QA team.
