Qualifications:

  • West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate in the specified content area of the posting.
  • Currently employed at East Hardy High School
  • Three (3) years of successful teaching experience required
  • Knowledge of effective instruction/pedagogy and content knowlege
  • Exhibit leadership capabilities and teh capacity to assume additional responsibilities
  • Must be willing to be an automatic applicant to, and be willing to serve on, the Hardy County Leadership Team
  • Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process
  • Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
  • The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Additional Minimum Requirements:
    • Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
    • Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
    • Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
    • Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year Only
Salary: $667.00 per position - paid through Title II and/or Step 7d funds.
