Job Description
Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Clinical Research Coordinator to join our Neuroscience team. This role supports clinical research studies through accurate data collection and entry, while also working directly with patients to complete research-related documentation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transferring data from Electronic Medical Records (EMR) into research databases, as well as assisting patients with completing questionnaires and informed consent forms. This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, regulatory compliance, and positive patient engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Review patient charts and extract relevant data from the EMR system (e.g., Epic).
Enter clinical data accurately and timely into research databases and electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs).
Ensure all data meets study protocol and regulatory requirements.
Interact with patients participating in research studies to: Facilitate completion of study questionnaires and assessments. Guide patients through the informed consent process under supervision of the PI or research staff
Assist with identifying missing or inconsistent data and follow up for resolution.
Support study audits, monitoring visits, and data quality checks as needed.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and GCP standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Experience with data entry and working within EMR systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact professionally with patients and clinical staff
