Position description 

​​The SVV Project Manager is a dedicated portfolio and project manager for the Solutions Verification & Validation department. The position shall ensure high-level portfolio oversight, planning and communication on behalf of the SVV department, and that SVV project activities are efficiently enabled via project management support. The SVV Project Manager engages and collaborates with stakeholders including SVV leadership and team members, Portfolio Planning Managers, Project Managers, Product Management and Engineering Leadership to ensure the activities of the SVV are visible, prioritized and executed according to plan.​ 

Major Responsibilities 

• ​​Primary contact point for project requests received and managed directly by SVV department. 

• ​Representative for SVV department at portfolio and project review meetings, providing updates and input from SVV perspective, and reporting outcomes back to SVV leadership and department. 

• ​Collaborates with Portfolio Planning Managers and SVV leadership on SVV activities and portfolio planning. 

• ​Provides visibility for near- and long-term project roadmap for SVV department and manages communications within SVV department and across stakeholders. 

• ​Manages resource allocation tracking for SVV teams and reporting to portfolio, business managers. 

• ​Monitors SVV project bottlenecks and escalates potential conflicts to Senior Leadership. 

• ​Provides project management support for dedicated SVV projects, e.g., post market interoperability, platform compatibility, including project documentation and management of release transfer. 

• ​Provides program level support on solution verification and validation activities, for combined product releases. 

• ​Change management. 

• ​Risk and conflict management. 

• ​Ensures the adherence to the formal business processes and documentation. 

• ​Manages and ensures the relevant regulatory compliance of the products.
