About the role

The Financial Transformation Project Manager Role at Clarios is a key role responsible for contributing to and executing a financial transformation strategy. This individual will adopt new technologies, tools, and methods to increase efficiency and effectiveness. They will collaborate with various business teams to ensure the successful execution of financial transformation initiatives, aligning them with the company’s overall objectives. Their work will involve developing and executing implementation, change, and transition plans.

This role is crucial in helping Clarios navigate the evolving financial landscape and achieve its financial goals.

How you will do it:

  • Independently leads projects or tracks within strategic programs related to finance transformation. 
  • Defines project scope and workstreams, understanding dependencies and priorities.
  • Collaborates with functional teams to identify solutions and manage expectations.
  • Produces timely summaries and high-level reports for key stakeholders.
  • Develops strong working relationships with executives, product managers, and resource allocation managers.
  • Owns the transition file, develops activity mapping, and provides metric-based reporting.  
  • Serves as a facilitator for improved performance across project workstreams.
  • Manages relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.
  • Evaluates the success of finance transformation projects, measuring performance against set objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness in finance operations.
  • Ensures all finance transformation activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Maintains clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and changes.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s or University Degree in Business, Project Management, Finance, or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI, CAPM, or LEAN are advantageous.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience including a minimum of 3 years in project management and familiarity with finance systems
  • Ability to lead initiatives, manage projects, and work as part of a project team.
  • Hands-on style and willingness to perform a range of detailed work.
  • The motivation, adaptability, and professional qualities to work well with individuals in multiple disciplines and across global organizations.
  • Microsoft Office proficient, familiarity with Teams using video and audio technology
