Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

 

Your Responsibilities

 

As an Electrical Engineer Design & PV&V for John Deere in Dubuque, IA, you will:

 

  • Support requirement development and design for electronic components and electrical systems;
  • Lead electrical Product Verification & Validation (PV&V) activities for construction machine platforms;
  • Provide problem solving of electrical issues on new product development and current production;
  • Work with electronic suppliers to ensure component interface and quality meet John Deere needs;
  • Develop, mentor and train other Electrical Design & PV&V engineers.
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.

 

What Skills You Need

 

  • 3 years of experience in creating technical engineering documents by gathering requirements and documenting engineering drawings for the new parts adopted
  • 3 years of experience in complete parts shortage analysis to check for parts availability and parts going End of Life and suggest for any replacement for those
  • 3 years of experience in assist in testing EDT/ESD on the prototypes to check for any failures
  • 3 years of experience in Root Cause Analysis on customer returned boards

 

Education/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 3 years related experience.
