As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC’s SST Change Delivery organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX. or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

• Prior experience in a development lead or architecture role

• Artifactory, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Swagger
• Experience with the Agile/SCRUM Methodology
• Experience developing RESTful web services & SOAP


Job Profile:

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
• Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
• May provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff.
• Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
• Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.
