About the role

Union plant:
The starting wage for this role is $22.26per hour.  This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.   In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).  

Shift/Working Hours: 2nd Shift - 14:00 to 22:20 plus .50 cent shift differential.

Key responsibilities

Job Summary: The Warehouse Lead on the second shift is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating the order staging and loading processes, investigating inventory issues under direction from supervisors, where needed assisting with delivery creation and tendering in emergency scenarios. As a working lead duty will be split as required by the supervisor on shift.

Key Responsibilities: Frontline Support Duties
Order Staging and Loading Coordination:
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating the staging and loading of orders.
Ensure accurate and timely loading of trucks according to schedules.
Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Truck Driver Check-Ins and Check-Outs:
Assist with the check-in and check-out process for truck drivers.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
Address any issues or discrepancies with driver paperwork.
Load Preparations and Tracking:
Collaborate with the offsite logistics team (GBS) to ensure no gaps in staging/ loading opportunities.
In the event of no availability from off-site support and outside of standard hours, create any emergency shipments.
Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and processed for direct/ LTL + Shuttles.


Loading and Picking:
Participate in the loading and unloading of trucks.
Assist with picking orders according to company standards and procedures.
Ensure all products are handled safely and efficiently.
General Warehouse Tasks:
Assisting warehouse supervisor with inventory checks and validation
Support other warehouse team members as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Internal area checks, Quality and safety under schedule and direction from team leadership.
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications and skills

Qualifications:
•  High school diploma or equivalent.
•  Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. •  Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Leadership positions.
•  Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
•  Previous Proficiencies in using warehouse management systems and software.
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•  Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
