Electrical Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to design, prototype, develop, and test an electronic subsystem for a marine robot. Work will involve the electrical bring-up of the subsystem.
Job Responsibilities:

• Define requirements, ideation, and implementation of an electronic subsystem for a marine robot.
• Conduct power and signal integrity tests as needed.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, firmware, test, and electrical engineers to integrate the subsystem with the vehicle.

Required Qualifications:

• Familiarity with power electronics.
• Familiarity with microcontroller design.
• Familiarity with digital communication standards.
• Familiarity with basic low-level firmware development.
• Able to complete a 12-week internship, dates flexible.
• US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with low-level CAN bus implementation.
• Previous work in marine robotics projects.
• Experience in student build teams (FASE Driverless, Rocketry, etc.).
