Job Summary:
The Research Analyst supports our Account Executives nationwide by providing research and insights that help CCO best serve customers’ needs. The Analyst drives revenue growth by optimizing the use of research in the sales process and collaborates closely with the Marketing and Research teams – particularly the Director and Manager of Research and Insights – to manage research requests. They serve as the primary contact for Account Executives and Marketing team members across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with the team to utilize and educate internal teams on best practices for all primary CCO Research tools, including Scarborough, MRI-Simmons, MediaRadar, Media Monitors, Telmar, Alteryx, and Geopath.
- Responsible for understanding and executing all facets of CCO RADAR offering, including planning, attribution and mobile amplification.
- Collaborate directly with the team on RADAR attribution studies, including study design, launch, summary, data and final presentation to the client.
- Work with the team to develop and execute original, customized strategic research projects that generate new consumer insights and add value to CCO’s advertiser partners.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on crafting external-facing research materials, developing messaging that highlights key takeaways for Sales.
- Develop customized presentations that incorporate research insights to deliver customer solutions.
- Partner with Marketing to integrate audience insights and trends into client facing materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.
Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year working in data-centric role, ideally in a media sales organization or media agency.
- Deep understanding of numbers and research and how to craft a story using them.
- Advanced ability to work with complex datasets and use statistical packages.
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate efforts across a large organization (both internally and externally), to achieve key deliverables.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
Skills
- Solid understanding of relevant campaign metrics, including conversion tracking.
- Strong organizational / time management skills.
- Be a self-starter with a diligent work ethic and demonstrated flexibility.
- Able to think things through and develop processes that contribute to enhanced organizational efficiency.
- Advanced technology skills and well-versed in Microsoft applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and social media platforms.
