Middle Data Engineer

We are looking for a Middle Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in AWS, Data Mesh, Kinesis, Kafka, Glue, Redshift, and QuickSight.

Requirements:

• Certificates: AWS SA Associate, or AWS Data Engineering Specialty.
• Good familiarity with Data Mesh and Data Products.
• Strong experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Glue, Redshift (performance optimization), and QuickSight.
• Very advanced soft skills and responsibility rules. Very proactive.
Nice to have:
• Bioinformatics & Genomics domain knowledge, or at least chemistry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with a client to deeply understand their existing IT environments, applications, business requirements, and digital transformation goals.
• Collect and manage large volumes of varied data sets.
• Define data models that integrate disparate data across the organization.
• Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines.
• Support production data pipelines.
• Develop and continuously test data-driven solutions.
