Who We Are:Transco Railway Products, Inc. has been the leader in providing railcar maintenance and services to the railcar industry.  We have earned the reputation for honesty, integrity, and superior quality which has allowed us to establish a committed customer base.  Transco is part of Marmon - a strong, growing, global organization that consists of more than 100 autonomous manufacturing and service companies.  Job Description:We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the Quality Program to ensure the work completed is in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.  The QA Manager will also support the production team with other quality initiatives as needed.Job Requirements:

• Lead and perform inspections of the final product to assess the quality of work performed and compliance to company standards using checklists, reports, forms, procedures, hand tools, gauges, and test instruments.
• Work with production leaders to identify and plan for the day’s shipments to ensure verifications and inspections are made in a timely manner.
• Manage Inspectors, plant certifications and 3rd Party contacts that support quality initiatives.  Coordinate all internal and external audits.
• Communicate technical information verbally and in writing.  Lead investigation of all root cause analysis.
• Ability to instruct employees on proper railcar maintenance activities using established procedures and training materials.
• Able to perform tasks that require climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms. Verifies cars are properly secured and identified prior to releasing.
• Able to pass drug screen and physical.
