What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance and Facilities Utility Worker, you’ll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team located in Berea, OH.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Perform a broad range of duties including but not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, general parking lot and grounds maintenance, and general repairs that are essential to the upkeep of the facility.
  • Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces inside building to ensure cleanliness and remove any trip hazards.
  • Safely use light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines.
  • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas. Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces.
  • Wash windowsills; glass in interior doors and specified windows.
  • Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
  • Emptying and taking out trash throughout the facility
  • Maintain cleanliness of restroom / locker rooms, including restocking soap and paper supplies as needed and cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces.
  • Assist in minor facility maintenance.  Examples include unclogging commode, moving items, hanging items, etc. 
  • Collect building trash daily placing it in approved container and place in designated collection area for subsequent removal.
  • Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers per specs.
  • Sweep or remove snow from steps and walkways at building entrances and connecting walkways/sidewalks as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Manual dexterity and ability to bend, stand, sit, squat, carry, push, pull, climb and frequently lift of up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to effectively work independently
• Proven ability to function successfully as part of a team
• Capable of using cleaning tools and equipment and hand tools
• Flexibility with assignments and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance
• Demonstrated mechanical ability strongly preferred
