Fleet Maintenance - Fueler

Position Overview:
The Transportation Fueler is responsible for ensuring that the tractors and refrigerator trailers are fueled at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Be available to work all shifts/days of the week.
• Must hold a valid CDL-B, CDL-A preferred.
• Accurately record/document fuel dispersal.
• Load and unload diesel fuel compliant with state and federal regulations and company procedures.
• Take samples and monitor fuel levels.
• Use safety equipment and spill kits.

Other Functions and Responsibilities:
• Obey safety rules pertinent to lifting and handling of product.
• Follow rules for proper care and maintenance of equipment.
• Handle all pertinent records accurately and legibly.
• Ability to work extra hours in addition to normal schedule as needed.
• Follow all work and safety rules.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and proper dress code.
• Report to your Supervisor all problems that interfere with a proper and safe work environment.
• Ability to speak and write legibly in English.
• Other duties as assigned.
