Mainframe Production Operator

Overview

SUMMARY:

• Tier One Technologies is seeking a Mainframe Production Operator to support our US Government client.
• This 1-year contract position will be located in Washington, DC.
• SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Responsible for overall support of the mainframe data center.
• Submit, schedule, and track jobs using JCL within TSO.
• Set up printers based on instructions from mainframe computer consoles, loading paper, toner, and developer, and promptly removing and organizing completed print jobs for customer distribution.
• Will be also responsible for unloading boxes of paper and forms as needed for print tasks, and for maintaining a clean and organized printer area by removing empty printer boxes, toner containers, and loose paper.
• The expected shift work: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST and/or 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM EST
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• All candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent US Resident (Green Card holder).
• Must be able to pass drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
