The Position:
Our team is growing, and we are on the hunt for a Senior Research Associate, Translational Research to join our cancer biology team. In this role, you will assist in bench research, where you will contribute to crucial data packages that will enable our novel therapeutics to go from bench to bedside.
As a Senior Research Associate, you will work closely with senior staff to conduct experiments, validate drug targets, and test the efficacy of our therapeutics at the cellular level. While doing so, the team will be committed to developing you as an independent scientist in the preclinical drug discovery process. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

- Working closely with scientists to design and execute in vitro functional assays.
- Developing and implementing novel assays to evaluate genetic targets and novel therapeutics.
- Collaborating with other groups internally to execute on high priority projects.
- Working independently to design, interpret and troubleshoot experiments and communicate results to the team.
- Contributing culturally to a dynamic and rapidly growing research organization.
As an excellent candidate, you will possess...
- B.S or M.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field with at least 3+ years of laboratory experience in an industry and/or academic setting.
- Proficiency with tissue culture techniques is a requirement.
- Experience with a wide range of cellular and biochemical assays such as flow cytometry, ELISA, Western Blots, and molecular biology
- Ability to work independently to design experiments, interpret data and troubleshoot problems.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and effective communication skills.
Bonus if you have…
- Immunology experience preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with DNA work such as plasmid prep, extractions, or knocking down genes with siRNA
- Experience with culturing and assaying primary human tumor cells
- Familiarity with GraphPad Prism and FlowJo a plus.
