About the role: 

Join Boston Scientific in a pivotal leadership role! The Associate Director of ERP Transformation oversees S4 HANA design & development across Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance functional areas ensuring seamless integration with other IT systems. Reporting to the VP, IT ERP Transformation and Acquisition Integration, this individual will be responsible for solutions design, configuration, data management, security, testing, reporting, and specialized programming for global rollouts.
 
 
Your responsibilities include:

• Global Leadership: Lead Manufacturing, Quality & Finance implementation of S4 HANA globally. Act as the IT business partner for functional transformation leaders, defining future-state processes and driving execution.
• Team Management: Manage a team of architects and system integrator partners. Ensure the design, development, and testing align with program schedules and industry best practices.
• Solution Design & Development: Participate in design workshops, influencing key decisions through a balance of business needs, best practices, and out-of-the-box functionality. Responsible for development & testing of the S4 configuration/code by product teams to get ready for deployment across program sprints.
• Execution & Coordination: Coordinate progress updates to the Global Magellan PMO and IT management. Manage financials and vendor relationships while providing overall oversight to the team.
• Global Experience: Utilize your extensive global experience in planning, developing, and deploying large, complex ERP solutions within the SAP ecosystem. Work seamlessly with offshore and geographically dispersed teams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership, Executive Steering committees, and regional leaders. Demonstrate your ability to manage multiple consulting partners, contractors, and software vendors.

What we’re looking for:
Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science, MIS, Finance or similar area of study.
• 10+ years of SAP and e-business experience, supporting large-scale enterprise operations including manufacturing, quality & finance. 
• Good understanding of the SAP solution to develop plans that are robust from an integrity point of view, cutover plans and deployment.
• Must have hands-on experience in configuring SAP systems. Knowledgeable of integration, testing, cutover, data conversion, and CoE transitions.
• Proven track record with successful ERP implementations and managing offshore and geographically dispersed teams.
• Must have the ability to engage with all levels of personnel, external consultants, software vendors and agency partners.

 
Preferred qualifications

• Master’s Degree 
• Life Sciences industry experience along with knowledge and understanding with manufacturing, quality & finance preferred.
