JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner, Talent Management, is responsible for leading the development and implementation of comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. They are responsible for developing, refining, and implementing employee training, leadership development, career development, and internal mobility strategies and initiatives. This includes goal setting, performance management, talent assessment and calibration, talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and culture. They will also support the Human Resource Team in sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent to meet organizational goals. 


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to identify training needs and conduct annual training and development needs assessment.
  • Design effective learning programs and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Develop and execute a strategic learning and development plan aligned with the organization's short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate innovative learning solutions, including e-learning modules, workshops, seminars, and leadership development programs.
  • Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and development planning. 
  • Develop and implement talent mobility programs to facilitate internal movement and career development opportunities for employees. 
  • Enhance and maintain NWM’s career development programs.
  • Create the annual training plan to execute the curriculum strategy and bring value to the organization. 
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with external training vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness of programs and services.
  • Stay abreast of emerging learning technologies and tools; leverage technology to enhance learning experiences and track training effectiveness. Obtain and develop effective training materials utilizing various media.
  • Support talent acquisition and partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates. Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Support in delivering and enhancing our new hire onboarding to ensure we provide a world-class onboarding training experience for new employees.
  • Administer spending against the departmental budget.
  • Train and coach managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts.
  • Plan, organize, facilitate and order employee development and training events supplies.
  • Develop and maintain organizational communications such as email, career development website, intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees know training and development events and resources.
  • Oversee the analysis of learner feedback and other data to promote continuous improvement of development solutions, consistently moving development to the next level.
  • Perform other duties as required and special projects related to the HR function and company goals as needed.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful learning and development initiatives that drive business results.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable learning strategies.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant HR technologies.
  • Experience designing and implementing talent acquisition strategies, performance management systems, succession planning processes, and employee development programs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on learning and development, talent management, or organizational development.
