Job Summary:

Raytheon is seeking a high performing, HR professional to fill an HR Partner/Generalist role in supporting the Manufacturing Operations function.  In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with the HR Lead and business leaders to understand the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with the Human Resources vision and mission.  The ability to execute project deliverables, exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively on multiple projects is critical in this role.  The successful candidate should demonstrate an understanding of how HR can support business growth and performance in a manufacturing environment.

Job location is Andover, MA.

This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.

The Senior Manager, HR Partner will have responsibility for the execution of HR processes and activities to support designated customer groups within the Sensors Manufacturing Operations organization. The HR Partner will collaborate with the business as an advisor and architect on topics including organizational effectiveness, change and talent management, organizational learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits and employee relations.  Additionally, through partnership with other HR Leaders and HR Partners across the business, this position will provide leadership and support in the execution of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent development.

Responsibilities to Anticipate: 

  • Lead a small team supporting a disperse team across multiple locations
  • Model Employee Advocacy behavior and serve as a trusted advisor to front, mid-level and senior leaders and employees
  • Serve as a partner focusing on brokering solutions to business problems
  • Serve as a resource for driving a culture of Diversity and Inclusion
  • Execute critical HR processes, including compensation, talent development, performance management and talent acquisition
  • Collaborate amongst other HR organizations such as Labor Relations, Organizational Effectiveness (OE), Total Rewards and Talent Development (TD) to achieve business and talent objectives
  • Model consistent application of Raytheon HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions
  • Drive Talent Management strategies to include workforce planning, succession planning, knowledge transfer and high-potential development
  • Communicate and implement proactive strategies pertaining to employee relations, training, leadership development, employee communications, and diversity & inclusion in support of strategic objectives
  • Investigate and resolve Employee Relations issues and complaints and Ethics-related case investigations 
  • Focus on maintaining a positive employee relations environment and culture

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a university degree with 10 years of Human Resource related experience or an advanced degree with 7 years of related experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong HR and business acumen with experience driving HR strategic partnerships in influencing business results
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple HR functional disciplines to develop solutions
  • Ability to comprehend complex issues and identify opportunities to add value and deliver effective solutions
  • Experience building relationships with a broad range of employees at all levels in the organization including senior leaders to the hourly production workforce
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organizat
