In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe—today.<br/><br/></p> <h3>Your mission</h3> <p>Enhance the fidelity of our flight dynamics models and simulation capabilities, as well as mentoring other team members on model architecture, structured data analysis, and best engineering and modelling practices.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul><li><p>Develop and refine flight dynamics models to improve simulation accuracy and performance.</p></li><li><p>Analyze flight test data to perform system identification and validate model behavior.</p></li><li><p>Define and evolve the overall model architecture within the simulation environment.</p></li><li><p>Coach and mentor team members working alongside you on model development.</p></li><li><p>Investigate and resolve engineering challenges related to simulation performance and model fidelity.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain simulation programs to replicate product–environment interactions without real-world testing.</p></li><li><p>Develop models primarily in MATLAB/Simulink, with integration of C code where required.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with the GNC team and program engineering teams to support simulation-related needs across projects.</p></li></ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul><li><p>Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in aerospace engineer or similar relevant areas of expertise</p></li><li><p>+6 years of experience in similar positions. </p></li><li><p>Proven experience in dynamic systems modeling and aircraft simulation.</p></li><li><p>Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.</p></li><li><p>Expertise in data analysis and system identification — extracting system behavior and parameters from test data.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated contribution to projects that reached a tested or operational stage .</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills in English.
