Job Description​

The Opportunity: 

 

Saint Luke’s Shoal Creek Urgent Care Clinic in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Medical Office Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct. 

 

Shift Details: Full Time- 12 hours shifts, with rotating weekends

 

The Work: 

• Answers the telephone 

• Communicates messages through email or Epic  

• Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments  

• Collects patient copayments  

• Makes appointment reminder calls  

• Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate  

• Scans and/or uploads patient information to patients electronic chart 

• Ability to float to other community care clinics as needed
