ManTech seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Tactical Aviation Product Lead to join our team at Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD. This is a part-time, onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Creation of airworthiness product development tactical aircraft in support of PMA-265.

• Assimilate system data and develop content for the Naval Aviation Technical Information Publication (NATIP)

• Adhere to and manage the Airworthiness Process to incorporate Flight Clearance content into NATIP

• Setup, manage, and provide follow-up to planning meetings to incorporate new content into NATIP. Collaborate with and track actions of the multiple technical subject matter inputs to the updates

• Manage and track flight clearance actions

• Attend and support various workshops, meetings, and conferences related to F-18 and systems included in the NATIP

• Coordinate with support editors and graphics artists on the production activities to submission for distribution

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

• 8+ years of experience in Naval Aviation with fixed wing aircraft

• Must be a current or prior officer in the United States Navy or Marine Corps

• Knowledge of tactics employment of weapons by fleet aircrew

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12 years experience as a Fixed Wing Navy or Marine Corps Aviator or Naval Flight Officer, Weapon System Officer

• Weapons School TOPGUN or similar qualification

Clearance Requirements:

• Secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

• U.S. Citizenship required

Physical Requirements:    

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $95,200.00-$158,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but
