Clinical Cytogeneticist

Description

The position involves diagnostic service, teaching, and participation in research. The extent of the research focus will depend on whether the selected candidate pursues the clinical excellence or scholarship track towards promotion.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold an academic appointment in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a medical or affiliate staff appointment in the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D. degree or M.D./Ph.D. degrees, be Board certified or Board eligible by the ABMGG in Clinical Cytogenetics or in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics with an emphasis in Cytogenetics, and be eligible for a medical license in the State of Maryland if a physician.
