Requirements

Rokt is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who is highly motivated, proactive, thrives in a fast-paced environment and produces a high volume of timely and accurate work. It is essential to be well-versed in all facets of the Accounts Payable function to ensure success in this role. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Specialist should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, have a commitment to continuous improvement, be creative, and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily accounting operations for the global company alongside a team of other accounting managers, senior accountants, and staff accountants
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, including reporting on variances versus prior periods and budgets
• Monitor, analyze and create financial reports based on data analysis in order to assist with the close processes
• Liaise with external auditors and other 3rd party advisors to Rokt on an as needed basis, including working with our tax advisors on compliance matters (i.e. tax returns, provisions, etc.)
• Assess current practices, policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvement where necessary
• Identify opportunities and implement change for automation and process optimization, working cross functionally with various teams as needed
• Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to accounting procedures and internal controls
• Support Rokt’s IPO readiness including the migration from IFRS to US GAAP reporting

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, including public accounting experience (Big 4 strongly preferred)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Detailed knowledge of US GAAP required, and also of IFRS preferred
• Experience with and knowledge of Workday or similar ERP preferred
• Experience mentoring and/or leading a team of staff/senior accountants
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven and changing environment with minimal daily oversigh
