Job Summary
This position specializes in planning and carrying out broad assignments that lead to recommendations for change methods, procedures or policies. The specialist will develop plans and coordinate activities to achieved planned results. The role may be given full responsibility for planning and conducting assignments of moderate complexity and reports directly to the Department Manager.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for maintaining the calendar; coordinating meetings and scheduling conferences rooms and equipment for the group as requested.
- Manages department files, dispositions and transmit records.
- Maintains and updates the department's NRC Performance Indicators.
- Supports the Emergency Response Organization (ERO). Supports the Access Authorization organization during site outages.
- Monitors and tracks the department's overall budget.
- Oversees and acts as point of contact for assigned group, involving workforce time entry and Vistra payroll process for the Department.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or a High School diploma and 6 years equivalent related nuclear experience in area of technical expertise
- Extensive knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Office products required
- Technical expertise within assigned discipline desired
- Ability to work cross functionally to achieve planned results including ability to work with others in the industry on collaborate assignments

- Ability to work multiple project and assignments simultaneously.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Problem solving/Decision making
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and driven to perform at highest standard.
Can be given additional tasks to be completed by the Department Manager as needed.
