Description
The Department of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship (MSE) in the Cox School of Business at SMU is seeking to hire a non-tenure track Professor of Practice/Clinical Professor in the area of organizational behavior and/or human resources with an August 2025 start. Thought leadership, a charismatic persona, an innovative spirit, and a broad-ranging repertoire that provides for high quality teaching is essential. The candidate selected will be strongly involved in providing students stellar preparation and mentorship within and outside the classroom in order for them to perform at a high level in applied experiential projects, while leveraging diversity, workplace leadership, and managerial problem solving. Both salary and teaching load are very competitive.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in management or a related field by the start of employment; expertise to teach courses in organizational behavior and leadership.
Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated potential to teach MBA and undergraduate courses in organizational behavior and leadership as well as any of the following areas: Change management, management consulting, design thinking, people analytics, strategic human resources management, diversity, ethics, and healthcare management; interest in making significant contributions to the strategic deliver of undergraduate and graduate curriculum as well as their extracurricular program components (i.e., honors practicum, applied experiential learning, orientation, outside speakers, internships, and placement opportunities).
