About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager proficient in SAP to lead accounting and oversee our financial operations. This pivotal role encompasses managing daily financial operations. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing all accounting activities, and supporting strategic financial decisions through detailed analysis and reporting. This position is critical for maintaining financial health and guiding the company through growth phases. 

What You Own

  • Manage all accounting operational functions including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition. 
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities required for financial forecasting, budgets, and financial reports. 
  • Implement and ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory compliance procedures. 
  • manage and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and ensure timely reporting and presentation of all financial data. 
  • Streamline accounting functions and operations, developing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. 
  • Contribute to financial audits and coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. 
  • Engage in continuous development of financial strategies and systems, including the enhancement of budget and forecasting models. 
  • Attract, hire and retain skilled accounting staff; coach and develop the team to enhance performance and expand professional capabilities. 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field or relevant years of experience; CPA or CMA preferred. 
  • 3+ years of proven accounting management experience, ideally in a startup environment. 
  • Strong familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles. 
  • Highly proficient with SAP and other financial systems. 
  • Proven experience in driving process improvement and financial discipline in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. 
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
